Node.js Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in building scalable applications using Express and AWS. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Express.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Manage and deploy applications on AWS, ensuring high availability and security.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Node.js development.
• Proficiency in Express framework for building web applications.
• Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
